Connecting Slack keeps your whole team informed about design changes without anyone needing to check Rationale manually. After connecting your workspace and choosing a channel, Rationale posts an audit summary to that channel every time a watched Figma file triggers a re-audit. You sign in once, pick the channel, and the notifications run automatically from that point on.Documentation Index

What the Slack integration does
Automatic audit summaries
Each time a watched Figma file is saved and Rationale completes a re-audit, it posts a summary to your chosen channel.
Choose your channel
After connecting, you pick the channel where audit results should be posted. You can change the channel at any time from connector settings.
Figma-triggered
Notifications are tied to Figma Watch. Every saved named version in a watched Figma file triggers a fresh audit — and a fresh Slack post.
One workspace, one connection
Sign in once with your Slack workspace. The connection applies to all projects that have Figma Watch enabled.
Slack notifications require Figma Watch to be active on at least one project version. If no Figma file is being watched, no notifications are sent. See Watch for design drift to set up Figma Watch.
How to connect
Authorize your workspace
Sign in to Slack and select the workspace where you want audit summaries to be posted. Complete the authorization flow. The window closes automatically once the connection succeeds.
How to change the channel
If you want to change which channel receives audit summaries, update the channel selection in connector settings. How to disconnect
Disconnecting removes the stored access token and stops all future Slack notifications. No historical messages in Slack are affected.
