What the Linear integration does
Push a single finding
Select one gap or edge case and create a single Linear issue scoped to that finding. Use this for one-off issues you want to track immediately.
Bundle the full audit
Push the entire audit as a parent issue plus sub-issues — one sub-issue per gap and uncovered edge case. Related findings stay grouped under one parent in Linear.
Pre-filled fields
Each push pre-fills the team, assignee, and labels. Rationale labels issues with the audit category — missing state, logic gap, edge case, or accessibility — and a version tag.
Re-sync on demand
Push the same audit again after changes and Rationale creates new sub-issues, updates existing ones, and resolves any that are no longer flagged.
What each Linear issue contains
Every issue Rationale creates includes:- The relevant screen name
- The category of finding (missing requirement, logic gap, edge case, or accessibility)
- The exact finding text from the audit
- A reference back to the Rationale project and version it came from
