Connecting Notion lets you pull any page from your workspace directly into Rationale as a PRD source. When you create a project or add a spec to an existing one, you can choose the Notion tab and pick a page from the built-in page picker instead of uploading a file or pasting a link. Rationale searches your authorized teamspaces so you can find the right page without leaving the app.Documentation Index

What the Notion integration does
Search and import pages
Browse or search all pages in any teamspace you authorized. Select the page to use as your PRD — Rationale imports the full content.
Any teamspace you authorize
During OAuth you choose which Notion workspace to connect. Rationale can then read any page shared with the integration.
Keep PRDs in sync
Reference your live Notion pages as the spec source for audits, so your team always works from the same document.
Reuse across projects
A connected Notion workspace is available for all projects. Import the same page into multiple projects or use different pages per project.
How to connect
How to import a Notion page into a project
Once Notion is connected, the page picker is available whenever you add a PRD source to a project.Open the PRD source picker
When creating a new project, or when adding a source to an existing project, open the PRD source options.
Choose the Notion tab
Select the Notion tab in the source picker. The page picker opens automatically.
Search or browse
Type to search your pages, or scroll through the list. Click the chevron next to any page to expand and browse its subpages.
How to disconnect
Disconnecting removes the stored access token and revokes Rationale’s ability to fetch new pages from Notion. Any content already imported into your projects remains in Rationale — disconnecting does not delete existing project data.
